Ljós

This is my submission for the Cozy Game Jam Summer 2026.

The game is currently titled Ljós (there’s no deep meaning behind it—I just Googled cool words for “light” and liked this one).

You play as a firefly, flying around and gathering other firefly's to follow you, then guiding them to sky lanterns.

The level still needs a lot of work, and the game has some bugs, but flying around is fun. The visuals are built using premade assets, and the sound effects and music are placeholder assets I threw in quickly because I ran out of time. The level is also very thrown together but I plan on finding time to improve on  that and make it more cohesive.

I’d really appreciate feedback—good, bad, ugly—so feel free to tear it apart.  Also the controls is below because I forgot to include a tutorial in game.

Controls and how to play:

 Mouse & Keyboard: w,a,s,d - movement, mouse - orbiting camera, q - down. e - up.

Controller - left stick - movement, right stick - orbiting camera, left trigger - down, right trigger - up. 

to pick up firefly's you just run into them and they automatically merge with lanterns when you are close. 

A beam that comes out of the top of the lantern shows you the next one.

Note: the last lantern doesn't require you to drop off firefly's.
